AND look what Margaret sent me, my very own 'J=Joss journal" Linda had just asked me whether I had ever done a journal, and I told her I had never. I will think about what to put in it, as I don't do daily entries.... probably be quotes I love with pencil drawings to go with them...mmm a new project for the Summer. Thanks so much sweet friend. What a lovely surprise.

My new denture has been 'tweaked' and is now fitting like a glove...relief.

I spent yesterday afternoon with Maggie and her mummy...heaven.

It is nearly the end of another academic year.....whew.

All, in all, a very blessed Thursday.

Animal Wednesday (#63)

I simple loved the result of this, although I had no idea what I was doing when I started!
(Every single zebra has a different pattern of stripes, sort of like their fingerprints.)

No, it's NOT me, it's my neighbour, Frankie. He is huge, very barky, tries to bite other dogs, very unruly, still messes in the house, and generally a shame to all shih tsus! NO, he is not my friend at all, and Mama and Papa think he is very badly trained (actually untrained).

Blooming Tuesday (#42)

Drawn with oil pastels,paper scrunched up and then straightened, covered with diluted magenta acrylic paint, dabbed dry, ironed between two sheets of newspaper and ---voila!

Cactus Monday (#70)

So many cactuses are in bloom, so I painted this one.
Of course, Senita stubbornly refuses to bear a flower, but maybe she is just too busy with Joe, Prickly, Thorny, Sharpy, and Ouch (who haven't grown at all).
